WOW!! It has been forever since I last posted. I hope that you all will forgive me. I was really sick for a while and then went on vacation. I am finally back on our time and my normal schedule. Anyway.. Here are some pictures of the fantastic peole that I met while in London. I had a FANTASTIC time and wish I could have stayed longer. I did miss the kids terribly, but wouldn't have minded a few more days. 5 star hotel and all expenses paid made for a DREAM vacation...

I have received the best random acts of kindness in the last couple weeks. I have been horribly late in posting about them, but I absolutely love them.

Minde of TwoSouls Earth Threads has gifted me with the most beautiful felted purse ever. It is soooo perfect for me. I have it filled and being used as I type. I cannot thank her enough. It is the absolute best. Super thick and has a perfect pocket inside so I do not lose my damn phone all the time.. LOLMy second package is so awesome... I received a hemp key ring, 2 hemp bracelets and a hemp necklace from Iris who is a member of HippieSews yahoo group. She is so fantastic. I also received in that same package the cutest little pal for my office desk. It was made by Kimmy and it is my all time favorite.. Thank you both.. It was very kind of you and I am loving every piece.

Time for more pictures. LOL I have been uploading a bunch of items to my store. I want to get as much listed as possible within the next week. I just have so many things made and haven't had the time to list them, so keep watch all week. You are bound to find something you just gotta have.. lol

I am hoping to get some time to make soap yet this week. I got a bunch of new oils and fragrances, so this is going to be fun putting new soaps together. I got some nice bold colors to add, but I am not sure how much of it I will actually use. I like my soaps to be a bit more natural in color.. LOL

Anyhow.. Dog is back on the tube, so I gotta go watch Young Blood in action. That man is just to freaking hot for words. He really needs to marry me.. LOL

Have you ever had a day where you just wondered what made you get up in the morning? Well... This is one of those days.

My day started by having to order fuel oil. It just dawned on me this morning that I should probably check it.. Good thing.. less than 3 gallons left...Yep.. so stinking busy that I forgot to keep tabs on it. Thankfully my fuel man is also on of my best friends.. LOL Called him with an s.o.s. and he was right there filling the tank. Cost me $487.00 to fill the sucker up.. So there went breakfast at McDonalds.. LOL

I get to work only to discover that the front door to the office is hanging wide open. WTF!! So.. I go in to investigate and appears that the door perhaps was not shut tightly and nobody noticed. The wind probably blew it open and hence the office was FREEZING!!! So.. That tells me it was open for quite a while.. Mental note to remember to put a note on the door to Shut it tightly".

So.. now we get a call from the State Patrol informing me that the semi we towed in last night is under lock down. That means... because the driver was drunk, they took his license and the company has no idea.. So.. we have to call the company to let them know we have their unit. GREAT!! They are so pleased (insert sarcasm), and let mek now that I was not allowed to give the unit back to the drunk guy.. Okay.. HELLO!! Dude has no license anymore..

Get all that settled and the phone rings.. Yep.. another drunk driver bites the dust.. We have to go get a car this time. Tanked into a guard rail and wedged it.. So.. now that we are all busy.. I decide to run home to get some motrin because I am feeling a migraine coming on... While I am there I switched the laundry from teh washer to the dryer.. I had washed a load before I went to work..

Did I mention that I am wondering why I got out of bed this morning.... Wait for it.. It gets better....

My neighbor calls me.. Can he go into my house? He thinks my house is on fire. Sees smoke coming out from a basement window. Smells really sweet.. WTF!! Yes... idiot.. Investigate and call the fire department.... Freaking idiot!!! I race home only to find my dryer is on and there is steam coming out of my DRYER VENT!!!! Smells sweet because I used Orange Essential oil!!!! ARE you kidding me... You cannot tell the difference between a dryer and a fire?!?!?!?!?!?!

Needless to say my day just kept getting better.. I picked the kids up from school, came home and went to bed because my head hurt like crazy and the light about killed me.... Woke up to find that my ex sister in law's longtime boyfriend is in the hospital and not expected to live. My older 2 daughters are howling in pain as the realization that they are losing their uncle is setting in and my head is about to EXPLODE!!!

Surely this day is just a bad dream. It just cannot be real... I want a re-do!!! I Wanna go back to bed and get up on the other side..

Ahhhhh... I feel much better now that I got all that out.. Cross your fingers that tomorrow starts out better. If anything goes wrong within the first 10 minutes I am going back to bed and not getting out until the sun goes down.... LOL

I just completed another pair of wool shorties. These ones are just to adorable. I used 100% merino wool that has been dyed with koolaid. I used a scrap with some lime green in it for trim and it is amazingly cute. I listed them on Etsy in my store if you are interested. They are a meduim size.

This is what we woke up to yesterday. More freaking snow. ARG!!! I really do love snow.. but.. sheesh.. I am tired of shoveling.. I am tired of being cold.. And I am tired of having ice and gunk packed up under my van. It is driving me nuts.
The following picture is a lesson learned.. LOL We are learning that it is not fun to color on the furniture. Since this was her 3rd time doing it, I figured she could clean it. At 7 years old, one would think that she would learn from her mistakes and make new ones.. NO way... Not Katie.. LOL She keeps doing the same things over and over. It takes about 10 times before she gets the picture. So.. isn't she cute.. LOL

Now.. All that said.. I completed these newborn shorties last night. They are made with handdyed with koolaid merino wool. They are so freaking cute. I just listed them in my etsy store.I started this pair this morning and finally finished them around 2 this afternoon. I think they turned out perfect. I had alot more of the yarn than I thought, so I have some leftover for trim on another pair.. YAY!! This pair is a bit bigger. A size small.. Now this is a picture of the newborn on top of the smalls to show you the size difference. Aren't they super cute.. LOL

Oh yeah.. i forgot about these.. LOL I made some Victorian Rose Garden bath bombs a few days ago. They are completely dry and really stong.. Love love love them. These ones weight 4.7 ounces combined. I dropped the third one.. LOL damn dog grabbed it and ate the sucker. Sure hope he doesn't get sick from it. Course this is the same dog that ate 3 bars of soap last month. LOL!! Amazing he didn't get super sick from that.

I have some Vanilla ones coming up as well as some Poison (type) ones. Those ones are in tablet form. Much easier and I can pack them tighter.. LOL

Okay.. so here is the scoop.. I have this supplier that I have been using for over 10 years. Until recently they have been a super company to deal with. Always prompt. Never backordred. And always perfect transactions.

Recently... I have had nothing but problems with them. Large trouble (delivering all my wax, butters and oils in my unheated garage in sub zero temperatures) to back ordered items.. And now.. I ordered 2 ounce spray bottles with sprayers.. 1000 of them to be exact.. What did I get?? Well... I did not get myk 2 ounce bottles.. I got 1 ounce bottles. Sigh... I had to call them again. I am sooo upset over this. If I had wanted 1 ounce bottles, I would have ordered them..

They have agreed to refund partial shipping and the difference in the bottle price. Unfortunately.. my 2 ounce bottles are backordered and will not be here until May.. So.. I am going to try to find a new supplier.. Wish me luck..

I made up some of my Wild Jasmine Room spray that doubles as a dry body spray. It is soo awesome. I keep a bigger bottle in my car and I love it. Very stong floral fragrance. But I like strong scents, so this one works for me.. The bottles are kind of cute.. LOL

These are so yummy.. Spiced Pear (type) dry oil perfume sprays. These double as a room spray. I also found these really cute mini spray bottles that I love. I am thinking of offering refills on these. Not sure yet. I am not sure if they would really be cost effective, but I do know that I refill mine. I think that you could clean out the bottle and fill it with other sprays to take along with you. But.. I listed these in my Etsy store if you wanna check them out. If you want a different scent, just drop me a line. I can make it up for you in no time..

i made up some perfume oils last night. They smell sooo yummy. I made a vanilla lace one that is just heavenly. I love vanilla everything. I am going to do some patchouli vanilla tonight. I am hoping to get my essential oils in on Monday. That would be great because I have Tuesday off so I can make up some of my essential oils. I love working with essential oils alot, so this is going to be a real treat.. LOL... Anyway. If you are interested in a perfume oil, just give me a shout. I have all kinds of fragrances and have access to just about anything.

I was a busy fool last night trying to catch up on orders. I made a ton of White Tea and Ginger Body Butter. I have an order for 40 8 ounce jars and 20 4 ounce jars of Amber Musk, White Tea and Ginger and Vanilla Lace.. I have the Amber Musk and the Green Tea and Ginger done already. THANK GOD!! All I have left for today is the Vanilla Lace. I listed all the extras on Etsy last night, so if anyone wants some, just click on my store. It is really yummy.

I already have the Nag Champa finished. The Patchouli is done and all the extras are up as well. The sandalwood is dreamy. The http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=19329040 is a must for anyone who likes patchouli. If you like fruity, my pearberry apple is devine...

I have some 2, 4, and 8 ounce jars left of most. I also got some foil sample packets to fill with small bits of left overs. i thought it would be nice to send some samples along with orders as a promo.. Kind of a pain to fill, but they are cool once done. You know those sample packets that you have to rip the top to get the sample shampoos out. That is what these are.. LOL

Just to clear up any misconceptions.. This is Body Butter.. Not a cream or lotion. It does NOT contain any water. This is made from pure oils. It is thick and super moisturizing. Meaning.. It does have a greasy feel to it. It dissipates relatively quickly, but if you are looking for a watery cream.. this is NOT for you.

I use my butters on my dry elbows and feet. I put a pair of cotton socks on before bed and by the time I get up my tootsies are sooosoooo soft.. Anyway. I am watching Titanic so I gotta get off here. Ship is taking off and I haven't had my coffee yet.. LOL

WOW.. yesterday was a pita.. I busted butt at work. I have never realized how many people we have around here that just plain do not know how to drive. Sheesh.. One would think they all failed Drivers Ed and just screwed their way into a license.. Okay.. so that probably wasn't very nice, but dang it. The stupidity just amazes me.. ARG!!!

So.. I needed some relaxation when I got home, so I whipped up some Nag Champa Body Butter. I have the 8 ounce listed in my Etsy Shop. I have a few 4 ounces and a few 2 ounce to list yet. I am going to have my amber musk and patchouli done tonight. I gotta get on it. Only 5 more days til my big order needs to be shipped. I am hoping to have at least 5 of each left over for my Etsy shop. Cross your fingers.. LOL

It is time for me to get my butt in gear and get ready for work. Chat later..

I joined a group to learn how to use my paint shop pro x2 program.. Difficult bugger to learn on your own. LOL This group is fantastic. You have to do tutorials on each step and it is a great learning experience. I have 3 to do tonight, so I am off to get that done before I go to bed. I am pretty tired, so I really am not sure if I will get all 3 done, but I will give it a shot. LOL

I have been busy this weekend making body butter base. I spent all Friday evening making my base. 27 pounds of it.. LOL It was fun and I love making it..

Saturday night I spent it customizing 2 batches.. YUMMY.. This stuff is not super thick like some.. You know those ones that never seem to come out of the container without breaking a nail.. LOL I just hate those kind.. This one is super creamy and it literally melts immediately upon touching it. It is soooo super to use. A little goes a long way..

I listed these 2 in my Etsy store
The one above is Pearberry Apple.. What a lovely scent. It isn't to strong, but strong enough that I can still smell it on my skin after 6 hours. It is faint, but still there. My elbows are soooo soft.. LOL

Now this one.. It is called Orange Enlighten.. It is a dreamy light scent that is almost oriental. Mystical.. The orange is the strongest smell, but you can smell hints of floral in it too. Very feminine..

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I cannot believe a full year has passed already. It just doesn't seem like I accomplished a thing this past year. So... My goal is to get moving and be a bit more productive. I also want to get the house in order and get things more organized so that I can be more productive.

Okay.. so I didn't go out and "Party" last night. I stayed home and watched movies and then watched the big apple on TV. I never get tired of watching it. I hope that you all had a wonderful evening and I will check in with you all later.

I have to say.. I really truely love Etsy.. however... over the course of 2 months, I have had a couple sellers that really flaked out on me. Etsy doesn't allow a "bad trader/seller" list as it is considered "calling out".. But.. nothing says I cannot list it here right??

So.. the first trader made good with my trade items.. She redeemed herself by adding a few extras to the package which was a nice gesture. She also made sure to let me know that the package was mailed and gave me a tracking number.. So.. I will not list her here because she did end up making good even though it was 64 days before I got my items..

The second trader.. I have no problem mentioning her here.. TRADERS BEWARE!! holidayprimitives is a BAD BAD BAD trader.. I have tracked almost all her feedback only to find that her items are NEVER recieved in less than 3 to 4 weeks. I have been waiting 19 days. The only contact she has made was after I filed a complaint with Etsy. And that was just to say.."It was mailed.. I can't control the post office".. Well... Seems all her packages are delayed by the post office. Apparently they don't like her because they keep holding her packages for 3 weeks.. LOL So.. Please.. if you trade with her, DO NOT SEND ITEMS TO HER UNTIL AFTER YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOURS.. It is not cool to have to say that, but.. she is rude and others need to know that she doesn't seem to care about her customers..
